VT game was painful but memorable.

Game was great. The was my first experience at Fed Ex field, so wasn't sure what to expect. Commute in was uneventful and easier than expected. Did not have any concrete parking plans prior but parking staff helped direct me to open spots for tailgating. Obtained a decent spot for tailgating close to the stadium. Seats were good but upper level and pretty high up. It was very strange that this was a cincy "home game" and therefore the endzones had cincy insignia, cincy marching band was present, and all shots of fans on the big screen were cincy fans only. Obviously the audience at the game was composed of 90% hokie fans, so this was weird. Girl in back of me puked around half time all over the place. We moved, but the girl was not escorted out. The guys selling beers were nice enough to pour some ice/water on the "remnants". It reeked for a good 30 minutes. Guy in back of me got busted for smoking. I was impressed that Fed Ex field staff caught this and handled it in a professional manner. Game sucked for hokie fans but was an exciting game all in all with many memorable plays. Getting out of parking lot took some time, but was basically uneventufl and easier than expected. All in all a good experience and I would go back...

VT vs Cincinnati

Overall, the day was great. Fed Ex Field had their stuff in one sock as far as traffic was concerned. Stadium staff very good. Two big problems that dragged down my rating: First, they were very skimpy with the Porta Johns considering the number of tailgaters. Long walks to the Johns and very long lines. Didn't affect me because we brought a cabana tent and our own porta potty. Second was the refusal of the NCAA to release the game time until a week prior to the game. Big inconvenience. Fix those two problems and my rating would be a five star.
